3/9 Dinner

What I Ate:
Bombay turkey burger on a bun with tomato, lettuce, onions, mango chutney, and curry mayo.
1/3 plate potato wedges.
1/4 plate steamed broccoli
12 oz. Canada Dry
Who I Ate it With:
Multiple members of the studio team.

How I Felt Before & After:
Hungry. For real. Like I'm dieting and need to eat but am in denial.


Too full. Not grossly so, but enough that I should have had a few fewer fries.

3/9 Lunch

What I Ate:
Butter Lettuce Salad. 1/4 plate.
4 Baby Carrots 
Polenta wiht spicy sausage in tomato cream sauce - 1/4 plate.
Thyme & Rosemary Crusted Chicken - 1 boneless breast.
12 oz. Coca-Cola

Who I Ate it With:
Nobody.
How I Felt Before & After:
Hungry, the right way before.


Full, the right way after. Ready to work.

3/9 Breakfast

What I Ate:
An 8oz. coffee.

  • Two Irish Cream creamers.
  • Three Sugars in the Raw
Two hard boiled eggs (Large)

  • 1/2 packet of salt
Who I Ate it With:
At my desk.

How I Felt Before & After:
My stomach was an angry pit of hunger,  but it took a while to get to work so this subsided into normal hunger. I am eating about an hour later than normal.


I feel a little full. More than I should be. This might mean my stomach is shrinking. No complaints!

3/8 Dinner

What I Ate:
One sweet corn bread muffin.
1/2 cup garlic soup.
One serving spoon hearty creole okra & tomatoes
One serving spoon red beans & rice
6 oz NY Steak.


One Beignet with coffee whipped cream (1 tbsp) & fruit topping (2 tbsp)
One 6oz cup Hurricane rum cocktail.

Who I Ate it With:
So lonely...

How I Felt Before & After:
I was hungry. Not the urgent hunger but a deep hunger that is more full body than stomach.


Now I'm full. I don't have to adjust my belt, but I nailed what I should be eating. Content for hours.

3/8 Lunch

What I Ate:
12 oz Coca-Cola in a can.
Two tostadas.
One spoon of Mexican rice.
Two bites of cumin & oregano spiced squash.
1/4 lb of braised shredded brisket.
1 1/2 fists of marinated cabbage salad with dressing.
Shredded Cheese, Guacamole, Scallions, and three shakes of Tapatio.
One large handful of tortilla chips.


I made a Mexican Pizza out of it all!

Who I Ate it With:
My employee.

How I Felt Before & After:
Before I was hungry and ready to eat, and happy because I like Mexican food Tuesday.
After, pleasantly full. I didn't do too much spice, and didn't gorge despite the impulse to do so when I eat food like this.

3/8 Breakfast

What I Ate:
8 oz. Starbuck's caramel macchiato
One raspberry coconut puff (English pastry)
Who I Ate it With:
Me, myself, and I.

How I Felt Before & After:
Hungry, I woke up early. After eating I feel pleasantly sated. I didn't get a giant coffee, and didn't over eat on the pastry. Just one, not three.

3/3 AM Snack

What I Ate:

Me, myself, and I.

How I Felt Before & After:
I saw someone with a coffee and suddenly needed one. Now that I have it I don't feel sleepy.
